DESIGN FEATURES
The standard version of the CTX 310 eco Machine has a VDI 30 revolver with 12 tool stations, 6 of which can be equipped with driven tools. The main spindle can be used as a C-axis when combined with the driven tools. Another component of the standard equipment is the automatic traversable tailstock for thread processing. The linear guides in the X and Z-axis ensure high machine dynamics. All axes are equipped with digital drives, making feed rates of 24 m/min in the X-axis and 30 m/min in the Z-axis possible. With a highly dynamic spindle drive, continuously adjustable rotational speeds up to 5,000 rpm, an output of 16.5 kW (40% DC) and a torque of 166.5 Nm (40% DC), the CTX 310 eco offers the best conditions for challenging turning operations in the diameter range up to 200 mm with chuck components (51 mm with bar processing). Direct measuring systems on the spindle combined with the latest CNC Controls from FANUC or SIEMENS assure the highest positioning accuracy.
