The standard version of the CTX 310 eco machine has a VDI 30 tool revolver with 12 tool stations, 6 of which can be equipped with driven tools. The main spindle can be used as a C-axis when combined with the driven tools. Another component of the standard equipment is the automatic traversable tailstock for thread processing. The linear guides in the X and Z- axis ensure high machine dynamics. All axes are equipped with digital drives making feed rates of 944.9 ipm in the X-axis and 1,181.1 ipm in the Z-axis possible. With a highly dynamic spindle drive, continuously adjustable rotational speeds up to 5,000 rpm., an output of 22.1 hp (40% DC) and a torque of 122.8 lbs/ft (40% DC), the CTX 310 eco offers the best conditions for challenging turning operations in the diameter range up to 7.9 in. with feeder parts (2.0 in. with bar processing). Direct measuring systems on the spindle combined with the latest CNC controls from FANUC or SIEMENS assure the highest positioning accuracy. The 4-track bed is optimal for flexible processing possibilities.
